In order to establish the high-tech modernized city image of Mianyang, to fully display the historical and cultural splendor of Mianyang and increase the popularity of the city, according to the Mianyang urban master plan, Mianyang City has recently formulated the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” urban sculpture construction plan. The plan highlights Mianyang’s modern scientific electronic city and important historical and cultural themes; the three major sections of Science City, Fuleshan Park, Mianyang Central City, Culture Square, Sanjiang Meeting Point, and the three stations of the railway station are the focal points of the plan.
