玉石之美,人人皆知。何为玉石?各人自有评说,有的专家认为玉石是硬度在摩氏4度以上、颜色艳丽、抛光后反射性强、质地细腻、坚韧、符合工艺美术要求的非金属单矿物及其岩石。而古老的说法则比较简单明了:“玉乃石之美者”。即美丽的石头,古人均称之为“玉石”。科学的认识:玉有狭义和广义两类,狭义的玉,是专指硬玉和软玉;广义的玉,则是指一切可供雕刻美术工艺品的石头原料。
The beauty of jade, everyone knows. What is jade?
