以保定尖叶莴笋(Lactuca sativa var.angustana Irish。)为试材,茎膨大初期叶面喷洒赤霉素和多效唑.结果表明,莴笋对外源激素反应较敏感。50ppm 的赤霉素喷洒叶面,15天后显著促进茎的伸长,茎重也相应增加.最适宜喷洒的植株大小以20—30片叶为宜,浓度以10—30ppm 为宜。不同浓度多效唑对莴笋茎长的影响不同,低浓度有促进作用,50ppm以上则抑制茎的仲长。赤霉素(50ppm).对多效唑(50ppm)的抑制有明显的逆转作用。赤霉素处理后明显降低茎尖的过氧化物酶活性;而多效唑处理明显提高了茎尖的过氧化物酶活性。莴笋的“窜”可以通过多效唑来控制。
