1958年北京日报曾经组织过两次跃进高潮:三月间提出了“苦战三年改变报纸面貌”的跃进规划;九月进而提出了“三年规划一年完成”的口号。两次群众性的运动,推动了全社各项工作的全面跃进。为了总结经验和肯定1958年的成绩,报社编委会决定,根据六中全会精神和北京市委关于加强北京日报工作的决定,以及报纸跃进规划,进行—次群众性 In 1958, the Beijing Daily once organized the second leap in climax: the leap forward plan for “changing the face of the newspaper in three years of bitter fighting” was put forward in March; and the slogan of “three years of planning completed in one year” was put forward in September.
