In order to improve the quality of continuous casting billet and improve the economic efficiency, it is very necessary to test and control the liquid level of the continuous casting mold. However, achieving this goal is more difficult. Wuhan Iron and Steel No. 2 Steel Plant in early 1996 developed eddy current mold level detection control system, through hard work and achieved success.
