白先勇为当代著名的台湾旅美作家,弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫为英国杰出的意识流小说家,两人因为历史文化的契机而发生文学关联。白先勇创办的《现代文学》刊物译介了英国著名现代派作家伍尔夫,促使伍尔夫在中国的传播。另外,白先勇创作的《游园惊梦》借鉴了伍尔夫的意识流艺术,并对其进行了自主创化,创造了一种独特的具有深厚中国文化底蕴的现代文学形式。
Bai Xianyong is a contemporary famous writer in Taiwan traveling to the United States. Virginia Woolf is an outstanding British novelist of stream of consciousness, both of whom have literary connections because of the historical and cultural opportunities. Bai Xian Yong founded the “Modern Literature” publication of the famous British modernist writer Woolf, prompting Woolf spread in China. In addition, Bai Xian-yong’s “Garden Dream” draws on Woolf’s stream of consciousness art and independently explores it, creating a unique modern literary form with profound Chinese culture.
