磁型铸造是一种不用型砂的铸造工艺。它的工艺过程是:在套有线圈的砂箱底部,铺一层铁丸封底,把刷好耐火涂料的聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料模连同浇注系统放入砂箱内,再用铁丸填满,震动紧实后通电产生磁场。在磁力线的作用下,铁丸“粘结”紧包于塑料模上;浇注时,塑料模遇到炽热的金属溶液而气化,由铁丸间隙排出;待金属液全部凝固时,消去磁场,从流动铁砂中取出铸件。一九七○年以来,我国各地区和有关单位开展了磁型铸遣的试验研究工作。到目前为止,已初步掌握磁型铸造的汽化模、耐火涂料和磁型铸造设备等方面有关技术。我省牡丹江阀门厂、佳木斯机床附件厂等单位都进行了这种新工艺的试验。通过试验证明,磁型铸造对于形状复杂的小型铸件或砂型铸造困难的铸件具有简化铸件生产工艺,提高铸件质量,降低铸件成本,改善工人劳动条件等优点。本期介绍的是佳木斯市机床附件厂等单位试验研究情况,供参考。

It is proved through experiments that the magnetic casting has the advantages of simplifying the casting production process, improving the casting quality, reducing the cost of the casting, and improving the working conditions of the workers for the small-size or the sand-casting of difficult-shaped castings with complicated shapes.
