Evoked potentials (EPs) are used to study Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) and can be used to detect conduction block in peripheral nerve conduction studies and in the absence of F-waves. Abnormalities in early wave frequencies of brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEPs) suggest that the 8th distal nerve of the brain demyelinated. All 30 cases were in acute phase, including 18 males and 12 females, with an average age of 43 ± 17 years. All except 3 Fisher syndrome were consistent with the clinical manifestations of typical acute GBS (ophthalmoplegia or laryngopharyngeal paralysis , Limb maladjustment, and reduced muscle tone), most patients can not walk and EPs are examined between the first and fourth week of the disease. The results were as follows: 10 of 21 cases of median nerve somatosensory evoked potentials were abnormal, and 9 of 9 of 12 total body or tibial nerve somatosensory evoked potentials were abnormal. Seven patients with somatosensory evoked potentials were present
