2001年盛夏，笔者应邀参加广西南丹白裤瑶民俗研讨会，并参观访问了该县所属的里湖、八圩瑶族乡。依据所见所闻，我发现《隋书·地理志下》所记荆州“盘瓠蛮”俗竟在今日白裤瑶中重现。因隋朝统一时间极短，故《地理志》中所记民俗，多溯“自晋氏南迁之后”，如此南丹白裤瑶民?
In the summer of 2001, the author was invited to participate in the folklore seminar of white trousers in Nandan, Guangxi Province, and visited the villages of Lihu and Badu Yao, which belonged to the county. According to what I saw and heard, I found that “Sui Shu Geography Chi” under the Jingzhou “Pan 瓠 Man” vulgar actually in today’s white pants Yao reproduce. Due to the very short time of the unity of the Sui Dynasty, so the “geography” recorded in the folk, more retro, “Since the South moved south,” so Nandan white pants Yao people?
