Recently, a report entitled “Powering Europe” was released at the 2010 EU Power Grid Congress. The report outlines modern renewable energy systems and offers advice on how to integrate a large amount of un-fuel, non-polluting wind power into the European grid. According to the report, there will be considerable economic benefits of wind power into the network. Although there are no technical problems, it will be constrained by outdated power grid infrastructure and whether it can form a fair and orderly competition mechanism in the power sector.
