人民调解又称诉讼外调解。是指在人民调解委员会主持下进行的调解活动。目前我国在人民调解的基础上建立起“大调解”机制,以求更细更好的解决人民的矛盾纠纷。实践证明大调解有效的化解了人民矛盾,维护了社会的和谐稳定。但是随着社会经济的快速发展,大调解机制在运行过程中也出现了一些问题,亟待解决。 People’s mediation, also known as litigation mediation.
