Abstract Objective To investigate the ultrasound anatomy of tendon end of the most commonly involved spondyloarthritis of lower limbs in children of different ages and genders. Methods Thirty-one (20 males, 21 males and 2 to 15 years old) healthy children enrolled in the study were divided into four age groups: 2 to 4 years (n = 9), 5 to 7 years ~ 12 years old (n = 12), 13 ~ 15 years old (n = 9). Ultrasound transection and longitudinal scan were performed on each tendon end. The composition of the cartilage, tendon structures and blood vessels at the tendon end of the lower limbs was evaluated according to age, sex and anatomy.
