随着石油勘探开发技术的发展,尤其是近年来提高石油采收率(EOR)新技术的采用,油田化学剂在石油工业中的重要性日益增加。EOR技术所获得的原油日产量,仅就美国而言,己自1980年的53000立方米跃升至1984年的73300立方米,在原油总产量中所占的比重达到了5.3%。预计EOR技术的采油量仍将进一步增长,1990年将超过15.9万立方米/天,而2000年将趋近31.8万立方米/天,且EOR技术的累积产油量可达47.9亿立方米。EOR技术对油田化学剂的需求量十分可观,据目前的统计,每采出一立方米原油需消耗的化学剂数量不少,表面活性剂-聚合物驱油法:57—114公
