海定则波宁,宁波这一城市名称的寓意,反映了长期以来宁波人民对平安和谐、富裕美好生活的向往。平安,无疑是普通老百姓日日企盼的。从2004年全面开展建设“平安宁波”以来,宁波市委、市政府深入开展以“平安乡镇(街道)”、“平安社区”、“平安校园”、“平安家庭”等为载体的基层系列创安活动,取得了累累硕果。宁波市顺利通过全省平安建设年度考核,跨入“浙江省平安市”行列,江东、海曙、镇海、奉化、北仑、江北、鄞州、慈溪、象山、宁海等10个县(市)区在考评中达标,被省委、省政府命名为“平安县(市)区”。很多市民都表示宁波的治安状况越来越好,感到非常放心,他们还热心地为建设“平安宁波”出主意。
