The ~ (239) Pu entering the body through the wound causes most of the animals to develop malignancies at the appropriate dose and over a certain period of time. Long-term use of Zn-DTPA and Ca-DTPA chelator therapy can reduce the incidence of tumors, especially osteosarcoma. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of chelators on the intrusion of large amounts of 239 Pu. A total of 234 Wistar rats were used, both male and female, weighing 180-180 g and intramuscularly injected plutonium nitrate (iv, pH 1.0) at a dose of 1.58 MBq / kg. After 1 hour treatment with Zn-DTPA and Ca-DTPA , Dose of 25mmol / kg, administered once a day (1 week medication 5 times), the whole course of 64 days. 105 animals were killed at various times under ether anesthesia, femurs were taken for radiological analysis, and plutonium was removed from the bone using a digital watch
