Since the parametric design invention in 1986, CAD technology has not seen much breakthrough in more than ten years. Nowadays, with the development of networking, a new breakthrough technology is becoming a new trend in the future CAD development. That is to use innovative design. Replace traditional parametric modeling techniques. Recently, the author had the honor to listen to the United States at the Symposium on Innovation and CAD Technology Development held by the Academy of Mechanical Science.
