敦煌莫高窟是世界艺术宝库中一颗璀璨的明珠,其超绝的壁画艺术蜚声中外,现存492个洞窟中蕴藏着各个时期的文化艺术。其中,千佛洞已被联合国列为世界文化遗产之一,受到严格的保护。莫高窟的壁画内容林林总总,可分为尊像图、故事图、经变图、佛史图、神怪图、供养人图和装饰图等。装饰图中的衣冠服饰则是古代艺术中的一朵奇葩,真实而全面地再现了千年间各个朝代、各个国家民族、各阶层不同身份等级的人们的服饰,尤其是形式多样、色彩斑斓的民族服饰,不仅给人以艺术美的感染,还留下了弥足珍贵的服饰文化史资料。
