Broadly speaking, graduate students are superior to undergraduates in terms of academic attainment, cognitive ability, self-seeking, career planning, and so on. Graduate students from the Art Institute are no exception. However, in the actual teaching process, the author found that the motivation, attitude, method and efficiency of postgraduates in English learning are far from being as impressive as the author imagined. Their utilitarian, impetuous, passive and obsessive behaviors in English learning are surprising. In order to improve the English proficiency of postgraduates in art academies and ensure a good teaching effect, this article will mainly discuss how English teachers in art colleges and universities should guide students correctly in the process of teaching to start positive emotions, guide and help postgraduates cultivate good positive emotions, Happy and effective postgraduate English learning.
