北京申奥成功,举国上下一片欢腾。在人们彻夜狂欢的时候,盐城市民盟、民建、农工民主党负责人徐民友、孙锡初、陈少夫等思考的更多的是如何利用奥运商机,加快盐城经济的发展。他们在充分调研论证的基础上,向市委、市政府提出了三点建议,引起市领导的重视,在前不久召开的全市经济工作座谈会上,被当作会议的重点内容。他们的建议为:一要把抢抓奥运商机、促进盐城经济发展摆上重要议事日程。他们认为,北京举办奥运会将对全国经济发展产生直接和间接的推动作用。因此,各级党委、政府及其部门和企业都要把参与奥运经济作为加快发展、提高全市开放度、增强企业知名度的一个极好的机遇,摆上当前的议事日程,作为“十五”的重头戏,认真思考,深入研究,提出具体的措施与对策,大力组织实施,在全市上下掀起一个支持奥运、参与奥运、加快发展、振兴经济的热潮。
