两大历史性课题是指在执政的条件下，如何提高党的领导水平和执政水平、提高党的拒腐防变和抵御风险能力。解决这两大历史性课题是一项复杂的伟大的工程，也是国际共运史上未解决好的课题。党的十五届六中全会的重要贡献之一，就是把党风建设作为解决两大历史性课题的切入点。?
The two historic topics are how to improve the party’s leadership and governance level under the conditions of being in power so as to enhance the party’s ability to resist corruption, prevent change and resist risks. Solving these two historic issues is a complicated and great project as well as an unsolved issue in the history of international communist movement. One of the important contributions made by the 6th Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee is to use the work style of the Party’s work as an entry point for resolving the two historic issues. ?
