我1922年出生于武汉市,1942年毕业于湖北省高级职业学校土木科后,先后在江汉工程局、湖北省水利局监(利)石(首)办事处、湖北省荆州地区长江修防处监利县管理总段等处工作.从助理工程师,晋升为高级工程师.在1949年至1994年8月的45年里,我经历了1954年、1964年、1968年、1980年、1983年、1989年、1991年等典型洪水年.我在监利县45年,长江监利城南超过35.5米危险水位以上的有15年,其中超过36米最危险的水位以上的有8年.监利城南有水文记载以来,建国前最高洪水位是1931年的35.9米,其次是1949年的35.39米.建国后1954年在超过1931年洪水位0.67米的情况下,保住了长江干堤没有溃口.这特大洪水年的抗洪斗争,我至今记忆犹新.
I was born in Wuhan City in 1922. After graduating from the Civil Engineering Department of Hubei Higher Vocational School in 1942, I worked in Jianghan Engineering Bureau, Office of Supervision (Leishite) of Hubei Water Conservancy Bureau, Office of Changjiang Rehabilitation, Jingzhou Prefecture, Hubei Province Jianli County Management Section, etc. From assistant engineer, promoted to senior engineer in the 45 years from 1949 to August 1994, I experienced 1954, 1964, 1968, 1980, 1983, 1989 Year, 1991, etc. I have been in Jianli County for 45 years, and the Jianli River in the south of the Yangtze River has exceeded the dangerous water level of 35.5 meters for more than 15 years, of which more than 36 meters have the most dangerous water level for 8 years. The highest flood level before the founding of the People’s Republic was 35.9 meters in 1931, followed by 35.39 meters in 1949. After the founding of the PRC in 1954, it exceeded 1931 flood level of 0.67 meters without any breach of the Yangtze River. Flood fighting, I still remember fresh.
