在记忆中,我所看过的第一部意大利影片是关于中国的,它由通常被认为是晦涩的安东尼奥尼拍摄,有关我们的日常生活,细节我已经记不得了,只是那宁静的影调,使潮水般的人群都带着若有所思的面容。这些老是阴天的街景,这个令研究者头痛的人,我在早年对他的作品一无所知。在我们的班主任的带领下,我中学时代的全班同学一同前往电影院观看这部内部放映的影片,我们被校方告知,我们将要对这部影片进行批判后来,我陆续看过安东尼奥尼的《红色沙漠》、《放大》,《云上的日子》等影片,不知为什么,我一直隐约地把他的影片当成是中国电影,完全不是因为他拍过一部叫《中国》的纪录影片,也不是所谓的哲学。
