In the vigorous “Anti-US-aid Korea and Patriotic Patriotism” patriotic movement of that year, people from all walks of life in Jinan, like all other people in the country, conducted various donation-raising activities in support of the anti-US-aid Korea movement. Mr. Zhang Dongmu, then Jinan City Vice Mayor and Jinan City CPPCC Vice Chairman, wrote a famous historical story of his “three parents,” a vivid account of the current business people in Jinan who at the time gave a generous donation to support the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea Touching scene.
