人物画自唐宋以来,取得长足的发展。明清以降,随着世俗文化的发展,人物画由原来的文人画逐步转向为世俗画,尤其是当时商业经济较为发达的晚清华东、岭南一带表现为甚。苏六朋便是这样一位应运而生的画家。苏六朋的画在清代嘉、道年间的岭南地区影响较大,他与另一位同时代的画家苏仁山并称“二苏”。他的以世俗为主题的人物
