在全球化背景下,伴随着拉美印第安社会运动的崛起和信息社会的发展,拉美印第安传播事业呈现区域性和专业性发展态势。印第安人以影像和互联网为主要媒介发展自己的传播事业,阐释自己的理念,展现印第安人的价值观和民族特性,增强外界对自身的认知,发挥影响社会和政治进程的重要作用。印第安传播事业的发展面临经济、政治和社会资源等方面的局限,但它作为一种自下而上的传播模式有利于印第安人表达经济和社会利益诉求。
In the context of globalization, with the rise of the Latin American Indian social movement and the development of the information society, the development of Latin American and Indian communications has shown a regional and professional development. Indians use imagery and the Internet as their main media to develop their own communications, interpret their own ideas, demonstrate the values and national identity of Indians, enhance their perception of themselves and play an important role in influencing social and political progress. The development of Indian media is confronted with economic, political and social resources limitations. However, as a bottom-up mode of communication, it helps Indians express their demands for economic and social benefits.
