OBJECTIVE: To investigate the endothelial cell injury in renal transplant recipients and its significance by measuring the number of circulating endothelial cells in kidney transplant recipients. Methods: The amount of capillary endothelial cell (CEC) and its fragments in the peripheral blood of patients on the 3rd, 7th, 10th, 10th and 14th days after operation and on the day of renal dysfunction were measured with cytomegalo virus CMV), PP65 for testing, renal biopsy on the day of renal dysfunction to confirm the diagnosis. Results: Preoperative and postoperative renal stability, acute rejection, acute tubular necrosis (ATN), cyclosporine poisoning and CMV infection were significantly higher in CEC patients than those in healthy controls Statistical significance. CONCLUSION: Endothelial cell injury in renal transplant recipients with stable renal function, ATN, CMV infection and acute rejection all play different roles in endothelial cell injury. Endothelial cell injury plays an important role in the development of atherosclerosis in renal transplant recipients.
