With the strict requirements for the large-scale development and environmental protection of the capacity of modern power plant assembly machines, the high-grade steel chimneys with strong corrosion resistance and strong earthquake resistance have been used in the 1980s. In order to catch up with this advanced level, Shanghai Electric Power Construction Engineering Company successfully used a self-climbing hydraulic jacking flip-fab new process in combination with the construction of the chimney of the second power plant in Shidongkou.
