In the simple descriptive image metaphor also the author’s different intention. Atwood has fully exerted the image as a kind of metaphor and symbolic function of artistic technique. The sensible and touching image community in this article has the function of lyricism and painting, and reproduces or expresses the world in the novel and sublimate the characters fate. Grace alias Grace presents the poetic nature of the novel because of the complicated creation of images and the progress of narration.
