In 1953, we published a new species of carrageenan based on specimens collected in northern China a few years ago. For the particularity of the distribution of this kind of seaweed along the coast of our country, we find it hard to explain the beginning. Later, we draw from the distribution of the three species of the genus Carinus, which have been well documented in the world, to come to a conclusion about the distribution of this genus, and then apply this law to the reasonable conclusion that the law of this species, explanation of. Carpenicula is a perennial that grows in the mid-tide or climax; they grow not only in winter, but also in summer (usually not exceeding 25 ° C). Therefore, they are all the products of the intersection of the cold and warm currents or the warm latitudes of high latitudes. The carrageenan produced in our country is no exception.
