在《新闻爱好者》月刊即将正式出版的时候,我去北京访问了戴邦同志,请他就办好新闻业务刊物问题谈谈想法。我们坐下来后,他把上午我留给他的《新闻爱好者》简介拿出来说,我看你们要办的这个刊物,栏目设计不错。当我告诉他《新闻爱好者》是由《河南日报通讯》改刊,仍然是月刊时,他笑着说,这很好,刊名挺贴切,希望你们下功夫办好这个刊物。戴邦同志今年68岁,刚刚辞去中国社会科学院新闻研究所副所长职务,专心致力于《大百科全书》新闻卷的撰写和组织工作。他说,这本书条目很多,难度很大,是很费功夫的一件事。本想腾出手来写一点别的东西,但是现在还办不到。
