Intra-party cooperation is the first form adopted by Kuomintang-Communist cooperation, but there are obvious historical limitations in this form of cooperation, which limits the CCP’s fight for the leadership of the United Front. This restriction plays a prominent role in that Sun Yat-sen insisted that the national revolution should be led by the Kuomintang and never give up its leadership over the Kuomintang. The Kuomintang always maintained a precautionary attitude toward the Communists and did not allow the Communist Party to sit in the Kuomintang. The Kuomintang’s organizational power Strengthening and being necessary for the promotion of the national revolution but at the same time strengthening their restraint on the CCP’s activities. The development of the Communist Party, however, has led to the collapse and eventually the breakdown of the united front. The defeat of the CCP in its struggle for leadership led to the outcome of the failure of the national revolution.
