在中华民族传统的圆满、完美的综合思维模式和审美观念体系的规范下,中国古典诗歌的体式自《诗径》以来就不断追求尽善至美的理想。从楚辞始,诗歌体式在散文化和音乐美方面进行着互补探索,辞、赋偏重遣词造句的自由精丽,乐府偏重音律的整齐和谐。唐宋以后,诗体美的具体体现为格律,元曲的出现则标志着我国格律诗体的尽头。近、现代新诗体式的革命在所必然。
