引言目前,科学研究正处在迅速发展的新潮流中。著名科学家钱学森教授于1983年和1985年相继提出要创立地球表层学和数量地理学两门学科,在地理学界引起很大反响;浦汉昕在自然杂志上撰文论述了“地壳表层的系统与进化;陈国阶的“论地理学现代化问题”一文从诸多方面论及如何实现地理学的现代化;牛文元的《自然地理新论》和《现代应用地理学》专著在这方面作了许多论述,有关方面的其他文章和新的学术思想也不断涌现。
At present, the scientific research is in the rapidly developing new trend. Renowned scientist Professor Qian Hsueshen proposed in 1983 and 1985 one after another to set up two disciplines, the earth surface science and the quantitative geology, which caused great repercussions in the geography field. Puhan Xin wrote an article in Nature Magazine on “the system and evolution of the crustal surface ; Chen Guotao’s ”On the Problem of Geographical Modernization“ talked about how to realize the modernization of geography from many aspects; Niu Wenyuan’s ”New Theory of Natural Geography“ and ”Modern Applied Geography" monograph made many expositions in this respect; Other articles and new academic ideas are also emerging.
