铝电解生产中,氧化铝是重要的原料之一,为保持平稳生产和获取良好的技术经济指标,要求氧化铝具有良好的流动性、易溶解、对氟化氢吸附能力强、杂质含量少等理化指标。随着我国电解铝工业的迅速发展,2014年产能达3000余万吨,巨大的市场需求,使氧化铝行业也得到快速发展,国内部分地区微量元素和杂质含量高的铝土矿生产的氧化铝。导致氧化铝物理化学指标品位的下降,对电解生产产生极大的影响。
