一、狠抓第一要务不放松,经济发展迈上新台阶。坚持以经济建设为中心,一心一意谋发展。综合实力持续增强,从2002年到2008年,全区生产总值由61亿元增长到217.8亿元,工业总产值由174.4亿元增长到663.8亿元,财政总收入由5.87亿元增长到28.1亿元、其中区级财政收入由3.2亿元增长到12.6亿元,进出口总额由16.4亿美元增长到58.6亿美元。经济建设达到速度、效益与质量相统一。
