On December 11, 2007, the ashes of Ma’s wife and his family finally returned to their motherland 40 years after their family members accompanied him. Ma Sicong, the 20th century Chinese great violinist, composer and music educator, was abused and persecuted in the Cultural Revolution. In January 1967 he was forced to take his family to flee abroad. In December 1984, the Ministry of Public Security rebelled and restored his reputation to Masters. In May 1987, Masi Cong died of sudden heart disease in Philadelphia, the United States. Today, Ma Ssu-tsung’s wife and soul returned to their hometown, and their wishes were finally realized. As a witness to this incident, from the motion of July 1, 2004, to the burial of ashes on December 13, 2007, everything that has gone through in the meantime comes to light again.
