合成切削液是一种新型水溶性冷却润滑液。它具有工艺简单、性能稳定、设备投资少、上马快、使用简便,用于磨削加工效果好,适于加工碳钢、工具钢、不锈钢和高合金钢。在机械行业磨床、铣床、钻床上已广泛地应用,收到显著效果。过去常以乳化油或机油、柴油等作为金属切削液,不仅浪费能源、而且废水排放时对水源污染严重,特别是乳化油中添加的防锈剂亚硝酸钠有毒性,对人身健康有较大影响。
