对平乐活血止痛膏传统剂型和改良后的新剂型的止痛效果进行了实验观察。结果，新剂型对化学刺激致痛抑制率为６６．７％，老剂型为５７．３％，对照药为３６．１％；新剂型对热致痛在３６小时内各测定时间的抑制率均有明显提高，且略高于老剂型。上述两项指标新剂型优于麝香虎骨膏、关节止痛膏等几种市售同类产品。平乐活血止痛膏新剂型克服了原剂型Ｘ线遮挡，污染衣物，使用不便等缺点，便于推广应用．
The analgesic effect of the traditional dosage form of Pingle Huoxue Zhitong ointment and the modified new dosage form was observed experimentally. As a result, the inhibitor rate of the new formulation against chemical stimuli was 66.7%, that of the old formulation was 57.3%, and that of the comparator was 36.1%; the inhibitory rate of the new formulation against heat-induced pain within 36 hours was determined. Significantly improved, and slightly higher than the old formulations. The two new formulations mentioned above are superior to several commercially available similar products such as Huxiang Tiger Bone Paste and Joint Pain Relief Cream. The new dosage form of Pingle Huoxue Zhitong Ointment overcomes the disadvantages of the original dosage form X-ray shielding, contaminated clothing, and inconvenience of use, which is easy to promote and apply.
