There are several subsidence profiles that can not be explained by the existing subsidence models at the surface of the Potash deposit. Mining sinking hard rock bridge arch effect. Some correction to this theory can explain the observed subsidence profile due to the effect of the bridge arch. In addition, there is a special shallow secondary subsidence basin that extends 2-3 km away from the initial subsidence basin. In this paper, the phenomenon of secondary sinking is explained by the mechanism of elastic compression caused by the drop of pore water pressure in the adjacent zone of the subsidence zone. The pore water pressure theory plays a guiding role in the safe mining of the sylvite.
