将蕉柑健康树的芽条和感染黄梢(龙)病的芽条置于不同温度的热水和湿热空气中处理一定时间后,测定前者的嫁接成活力和后者的传病力。初步试验结果说明:在湿热空气中,黄梢病毒在46℃ 6小时,48℃ 4及5小时,50℃1、1.5及2小时,52℃30、45、及60分钟,54℃25及30分钟,58℃10分钟,和60℃2、3及5分钟后,皆失去传病力;而经同样处理的健康蕉柑芽条嫁接成活力完全不受影响;将这些芽条育成苗木,生长也完全正常。但在热水中,经43℃ 4小时以上,46℃1.5小时以上,50℃20分钟以上和54℃ 5分钟以上等处理后,皆显著失去嫁接成活力,经以上温度较短时间处理的病芽也不失去传病力。
