Recently, the State Council made an adjustment to some of the administrative divisions in Tangshan City and decided to revoke Tanghai County and set up Caofeidian District in Tangshan City. The revocation of Tanghai County and the establishment of Caofeidian District of Tangshan City are significant decisions made by the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government as well as the need to speed up the development and construction of Caofeidian.
