The novel “The Mother” shows the repressive structure that the Divine Love contains. Divine love refers to an impenetrable bioethics that has complex entanglements with body and ethics. The sisters and their mothers are enslaved and burned by divine love. This primitive life predicament is precisely the narrator’s own survival mirror.
