白喉是个世界性疾病,我国1747年已有记载。此病的发生除了人群免疫状态外,还取决于社会制度、气候、卫生水平、营养状况等条件,故各国发病率很不一致,但二十多年来世界各国的白喉病例大多在减少,不再形成世界性的严重威胁,然而此病对儿童健康危害很大。我国提出要在1985年基本消灭白喉,这是一项艰巨的任务,但是根据国内外病情动态,消灭白喉是有希望的。 Diphtheria is a worldwide disease, recorded in our country in 1747. In addition to the immune status of the population, the occurrence of this disease is also dependent on conditions such as social system, climate, health status and nutritional status. Therefore, incidence rates in different countries are very different. However, the incidence of diphtheria in most countries in the world has decreased over the past 20 years. Form a serious worldwide threat, but the disease is very harmful to children’s health. My country’s proposal to basically eliminate diphtheria in 1985 is a daunting task but it is hopeful that the elimination of diphtheria will be based on the developments at home and abroad.
