On August 29, 2013, China Association for Science and Technology and People’s Government of Tibet Autonomous Region signed the “Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Enhancing the Scientific Quality of All People and Promoting the Leaping-over of Tibet.” Shen Weichen, First Secretary of Party Committee and Secretary of Party Committee of China Association for Science and Technology, Deng Xiaogang, deputy party secretary and district deputy party secretary of Tibet Autonomous Region and Deng Xiaogang, secretary of the Committee of Political and Legal Committee of the district party committee, represented the China Association for Science and Technology and the Tibet Autonomous Region Association of Science and Technology respectively on the strategic cooperation agreement signature.
