天优998在梅州市试验、示范结果表明,该品种丰产性好、米质优异、抗性强,适宜在本市中南部地区平原、丘陵和山区村段田作早、晚稻种植,中北部地区作晚稻种植。抛栽后每公顷最高苗数要控制在450万苗左右,有效穗数达到405万～450万穗;水分管理实行“浅、露、活、晒”相结合的管理方法;在肥料管理上宜采用“前促、中控、后补”的施肥方法。
Tianyou 998 was tested in Meizhou City. The demonstration results show that this variety has good yield, good grain quality and strong resistance.
