現代化的鍋爐制造是广泛运用各种先进焊接与火焰加工技术的工业部門。如果在鍋爐制造中不采用各种現代化及先进的焊接技术,就很难生产高压鍋爐机組,同时也不可能使鍋爐机組向高参数方向发展。在鍋爐机組中,有很多部件(如汽包、联箱、管子等)是在高温高压的工作条件下运行的,不仅要保証焊縫金属密封性、强度和靱性等符合技术条件的要求,而且焊縫金属还要求具有一定的化学成分。因此,如何保証焊縫的質量,对鍋爐制造来說有着特別重要的意义。
