H + mobility of 12-tungstophosphoric acid was investigated by conductivity measurement. The results show that H + of 12-tungstophosphoric acid is migratable. Under the experimental conditions, the activation energy and activation entropy of migration are 37.3 kJ / mol and -121.1 J / (mol · K), respectively. Non-polar and weak polar molecule adsorption has almost no effect on H + migration, while molecules containing hydroxyl groups; such as water and alcohol adsorption is conducive to promoting the movement of H ■. In the latter case, the transfer of H + takes place essentially as follows: H + is transferred from ROH + 2 (R = H or alkyl) to its hydrogen-bonded ROH, which in turn propagates its other H + The other molecule adjacent to it continues.
