The key to rapid diagnosis of rubella is to detect IgM in blood samples. This article describes the use of SPA absorption combined with FIAX and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for detection of specific IgM, with good specificity, high sensitivity and rapid, accurate, and has practical value.
