动身去北京参加第五次作家代表大会之前,本以为会看到徐迟先生的。想到多年不见,能有一次聆听教诲的机会,总是有些期盼的。没想到一到会上,就得到徐迟先生已经去世的消息,简直无法相信。发到手头的《人民文学》第11期上还赫然刊着他的散文《自然、地球、人类》。他在中国当代老作家甚至中青年作家中,可能是最有自然科学史和自然哲学修养的,对于大自然和人类关系可能是最具有深邃的睿智和超迈的神思的。更何况,他虽然年过八十,其活跃的创造力仍然是不亚于某些中年作家。在我看来,他创造了一个奇迹,在年过古稀之后,他的作品的质和量,比他五十年代当《诗刊》副主编那风华正茂的时候更高。这种老年开花的奇迹可以把它称之
