This article summarizes the stages of technological progress in waterflooding in Daqing Oilfield. The relationship between the leading technology of water flooding and the related technology is expounded. The trend of future technology development in Daqing Oilfield is also predicted. It is pointed out that the application of computer technology will greatly enhance the technological level of Daqing oilfield development. Future oilfield development will be more dependent on science and technology than ever before.
